Stephen is a lifelong resident of Panama City, Florida and lives on West Bay in Panama City with his wife Emily. The Syfrett family has lived and worked in Bay County since the early 1960's and Stephen returned home to start his professional career in the area.
Stephen went to Rutherford High School before attending Auburn University. At Auburn, he discovered a love of economics and law, met his wife Emily, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics.
After College, Stephen attended Florida State University College of Law where he graduated cum laude, in the top third of his class. While in Law School, Stephen was an extern with the Florida Supreme Court, worked for the University of Florida’s Government Relations Office, interned at the Florida Innocence Project and the James Madison Institute, and worked for a private attorney.
Stephen passed the July 2016 Florida Bar Exam, and is a member of the Florida Bar. From 2016 to 2018, Stephen worked as an Associate Attorney in Miramar Beach, Florida.
In January 2018, Stephen opened his law firm on Stanford Road in Panama City. Following Hurricane Michael on October 10, 2018, Stephen devoted a substantial portion of his practice to representing those homeowners who had been damaged or defrauded by predatory contractors. At this time Stephen moved his practice to share an office with Jack G. Williams. In January 2021 the partners formed Williams & Syfrett, PLLC.
Stephen's current practice includes civil litigation, estate planning, real estate and other related matters.
Jack G. Williams, Esq.

Jack was born and raised in Panama City, with stops in Hollywood, CA and Havana, Cuba. Mr. Williams went to Bay High School and served in the United States Air Force. Following his service, Mr. Williams graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi, and Stetson Law School.
Mr. Williams has been a Florida Attorney since 1973, and maintains many relationships with clients that are well over thirty (30) years old. His practice revolves around real estate transactions, corporate and estate structuring, and probate work.
Jack splits his time between his beloved farm in the Sand Hills, and Brevard, North Carolina.
